Andra Day and Andi Matichak

Cassandra Monique Batie aka Andra Day, is a American R&B/Soul singer-songwriter. She is the recipient of various accolades including an Grammy Award a Children's and Family Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award along with nominations for an Academy Award. Andra Days is a strong artist who also writes beautifully. Not only is she a specialist in throwback R&B but her sources are blues and gospel jazz. Her debut album, Cheers to The fall (2015) she made it into the Top Ten R&B/hip hop charts as well as securing a few Grammy nominations. In 2017 her performance on Marshall's score was acknowledged by an Academy Award. Amen and Make Your Troubles Away and The United States Versus Billie Holiday all have singles that are building anticipation for the release of her new album. Andra has been born Cassandra Monique Batie on Edmonds Washington. Growing up living in San Diego and surrounding areas her first performance was in the church and was enrolled into the School of Creative and Performing Arts. She switched her attention from contemporary R&B and pop when she graduated and was later again drawn to soul and jazz singers she was a fan of as a child. Kai Millard Morris, who saw a live show by Day and brought her songs to Stevie Wonder's husband, was the major leap forward. Motown legendary Adrian Gurvitz connected Day and the seasoned music businessman. Day got signed by Warner Bros. after gaining the attention of a huge YouTube fan base with Gurvitz as well as Jeffrey Evans Buskin. The song was picked up quickly from radio DJs. The album she released her debut Cheers to the Fall (2015) was produced by Adrian Gurvitz. She signed with Warner Bros. Records. The album included the single Rise Up that became an iconic song of social justice campaigns across the globe. Day was nominated to win two Grammy Awards, which included Best R&B Album. The United States Versus Billie Holiday was her second album, released in 2019 and a conceptual record about the life of Billie Holiday. In addition, she was a part of The United States vs. Billie Holiday, a film that tells the story of Holiday. Andi matichak (born 25th August 1970) is an American actress. She appeared first in TV shows such as Orange Is the New Black or Blue Bloods prior to her debut in the horror films Halloween in addition to sequels. Andi matichak is an American actress, born 03 May 1994 Framingham in Massachusetts.
