Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13th 1962) is an American actress from America. In 1983, following her film debut Bad Boys, Sheedy became one of the Brat pack of actors. She starred in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986) and WarGames. For her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy was awarded the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female lead. Ally Sheedy has been an American writer and actor for over twenty years. Her career in film began in the the early 1980s, when she appeared in the crime drama film, Bad Boys. The film was starring Rick Rosenthal as well as Sean Penn as well as Esai Morales Clancy Brown & Alan Ruck. In 1985, following her debut success in a movie, the actress appeared in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. John Hughes' film is thought to be among the top high school film of all-time. Even though the film's budget was only $1 million, the film has grossed more than $50 millions. Also, she began to appear in a variety of TV shows, including CBS Schoolbreak. This was her debut on television. It was a show specifically for teens that began airing beginning in April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid, Hill Street Blues and Chicago Story are a few of the other shows in which she has appeared. In Little Sister she makes a guest appearance. She is also as a character in X-Men Apocalypse a superhero film in which her role is only a short cameo. Sheedy has received numerous awards for her stellar performances among them the MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
