Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez was born in Mexico. She is an American Mexican actor. She also sings. Her mother raised her in the USA, where she faced many racial taunts that left her feeling like an unwanted person. After entering a ninth-grade school audition, where she received praises for her voice as she built confidence. It not only increased her confidence, but also her goals were changed. She was a graduate of the New York's Julliard School at the age of 22. At the age of 23, her first Broadway show with Paul Simon's The Capeman, and her debut in the film You've got Mail were both major break. In the Broadway original production of Spamalot, she played The Lady of The Lake and was awarded the Tony Award as well as the praise of critics. In the following year she was made the lead character the character Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her gain more fame. As a professional singer She has also recorded one single and an extended piece. In addition, she has been a vocal advocate for LGBT concerns.
